Cave Without A Name hires Marketing Director;
Plans upcoming activities
Boerne, TX - June 20, 2007. After a temporary hiatus to observe the passing of Thomas Summers III, son of cave owner Tom Summers, Jr. (of Houston), Cave Without A Name has hired a Marketing Director and has several upcoming activities planned for the summer.
“We would like for everybody to know that we are now fully operational,” Tom said, “and we are proceeding with the grand plans that Thomas had to add more entertainment and features to the Cave.”
The first of these will be on June 30 (7:30 p.m. at the Cave), and will be a “Life Celebration” of Thomas, who died in an accident on his family’s privately-owned property in a wild, unexplored cave about ½ mile from the Summer’s family-owned “Cave Without a Name,” which has been in operation since the 1930’s.
The “Life Celebration” will feature music by Rudi Harst, Spiritual Director of Celebration Circle. The event is a dedication to the memory of Thomas, 44, who leaves behind a wife and four children. The free event is open to friends of Thomas, friends of the cave, and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly in the search and recovery efforts.
